TEMPERED GLASS

Tempering process makes glass more strong against heat and blows. The process of the tempered glass follows these processes. First, the glass is cut, given shape, polished the edge, drilled and washed. After dried, it is tempered in a special tempering oven under a high pressure and heat up to (700-750°C). The heat depends on the thickness of the glass.

Afterwards the heat is decreased suddenly. Tempering process doesn’t make any chemical or physical changing on the glass. This process makes the glass five times stronger than a none-tempered glass. In addition to this when it is broken it dispersions into little pieces as small as a die.
